The decorative trim must be removed from the front surround before removal of the front

surround.

14.1 To Remove the decorative trim

1. The decorative trim is made up of four

sections. Each section is secured using four

strong magnets. Remove the trim sections in

the following order: -

Top trim

Side trim

Bottom trim

2. Replace in the reverse order (See section 10,

point 2)

14.2 To Remove the Fire Front Surround

1. Remove the front surround trim as in

section 14.1.

2. The surround is held in place by

four retaining plates at the back of

the surround. These slot into four

retaining brackets on the hotbox. To

remove the surround, hold the sides

of the surround and lift upward and

forward. The surround should lift

clear of the hotbox (See figure 40)

3. Replace in the reverse order

14.3 To Remove the Burner Unit

1. Remove the Firefront surround as in

Section 14.2.

2. Remove the ceramic fuel effect

pieces.

3. Detach the spillage plate from the hotbox by removing the four screws (See figure

41). Place the spillage plate in a safe place away from the work area.
